Leicester City appoints Big Communications

Leicester City Football Club, the league one leader, has appointed Mission Marketing Group agency Big Communications to widen the club’s commercial appeal.

The Leicester-based agency has created a through-the-line campaign to break this month, which will include outdoor and digital activity.

Lee Hoos, chief executive of the East Midlands club, says “The Big appointment is another step in enabling the club to become more progressive in terms of its commercial and marketing operations.”

The club, which was relegated to the third tier of English football for the first time in its history last season, has a shirt sponsorship deal with retailer Topps Tiles and commercial partnerships with Alliance Leicester and Thomas Cook.

Big Communication clients include Alliance & Leicester, Lucozade, Miele and WKD.
