Foxy Bingo, the Cashcade Group-owned gaming brand, is launching a £10m TV advertising campaign this month to promote its £1m a month giveaway, its biggest promotion to date. It will also run a red-button interactive game show, The Foxy Bingo Show, on satellite.
The campaign breaks on January 30 and will be backed by radio, poster and press advertising, created by agency Biscuit.tv.
A ten second teaser spot shows a spaceship hurtling towards Earth, telling viewers “He’s Back” and “He’s Giving Away £1 million”, in reference to brand mascot Foxy.
A separate 40-second commercial features hundreds of women flocking to a mysterious spaceship landing, which then opens to reveal Foxy and a disco scene.
Foxy Bingo says the show, which can be accessed by BSkyB viewers through the red button, is a “mini version of Shooting Stars meets TFI Friday”. It is presented by Rowland Rivron and features various prerecorded segments including celebrities appearing from “Behind The Sofa”, a studio competition called “Rowland’s Sock” and surprise visits to players.
