Teletext Holidays managing director Matt Cheevers has stepped down and has been replaced by sales and distribution director Victoria Sanders.
Cheevers became managing director of the DMGT-owned company in March 2007 after a restructure and repositioning. He was previously commercial director online and is a former head of holidays at lastminute.com and commercial manager at Eurostar.
While at Teletext Holidays he oversaw the integration of TV and web operations and launched thisistravel.co.uk. He is thought to have a new consultancy position elsewhere.
The marketing department continues to be led by former St Luke’s executive Ash Makkar and the company’s agency of record is Clemmow Hornby Inge.
Teletext recently adopted behavioural targeting to help drive up online advertising revenues. It appointed the behavioural targeting specialist Revenue Science to handle the brief for its portfolio of sites.
