The new advertising campaign for 118 118 features the brand’s iconic runners alongside Ghostbuster singer Ray Parker Jnr and a new version of his 80s hit.
The advertisement has been created by the Brooklyn Brothers for The Number, owner of the 118118 brand, and is breaking this week. It features Parker Jr taking a number of roles alongside the 118118 runners, including a bus conductor.
One line is tweaked to say “I ain’t afraid of no goats” as a herd of the animals are released. The ad ends with giant versions of the runners appearing before a huge, dancing crowd.
The ad will underpin an integrated campaign that will stretch across ambient, viral and other through-the-line activities.
