AMV BBDO cuts planning director role

Miranda Ross, the planning director at advertising agency AMV BBDO has been made redundant.

Ross, who was previously head of planning at digital agency Glue London, and prior to that head of planning at Wunderman, joined AMV in late 2007 to bring her digital experience to the agency.

Her departure is understood to be part of a number of redundancies at the agency, although new media age understands these redundancies will not be affect its digital teams.

Her departure coincides with planner Tom Johnstone who will leave the agency this month and will not be replaced.

AMV BBDO refused to comment.
