Talk Talk names marketing chief

TalkTalk, the home phone and broadband company, has appointed Olivia Streatfeild to the role of marketing director. She replaces Dominic Stinton who recently left to join VCCP.

Streatfeild joins from McKinsey & Co where she advised clients on marketing and strategy issues. She will report to Talk Talk’s commercial director Tristia Clarke and be responsible for brand campaigns, direct marketing and consumer insight.

Streatfeild’s move follows the appointment of Michele Lockwood as head of direct marketing last November.

TalkTalk is owned by The Carphone Warehouse which is currently reviewing its corporate structure, a move which could lead to the separation of TalkTalk and its high street retail operation.

Carphone Warehouse recently reported a 13 % increase in retail sales over the Christmas trading period.

Talk Talk recently returned to television with a campaign promoting myTalkTalk, a new phone and broadband product that lets customers pay for only what they want.
