Daimler Mercedes-Benz has recruited Mark Langenbrinck as the new head of sales and marketing for the smart marque.
He will also heading the management team of the smart brand and succeeds Anders-Sundt Jenson. The latter was appointed to lead the Brand Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars unit since last November.
Langenbrinck, who will be based in Stuttgart, is a former head of corporate strategy for sales & marketing and DaimlerChrysler Services. Since April 2007 he has headed the Fleet Sales, Direct Sales and Remarketing unit at Mercedes-Benz Cars.
He will report to Anders-Sundt Jensen.
The smart marque was integrated into the Mercedes Car Group in 2006.
