Netplay hires agency veteran as brand director

Agency veteran Jonathan Rigby, a former managing director of FCB London, has been appointed as brand director at interactive gaming company Netplay TV.

Rigby (pictured) will take-on responsibility for brand development of Netplay brands which include SuperCasino.com, Bingos.com and EuroTelemillions.com.

The appointment comes after the Aim-listed gambling firm’s recent inking of a deal with Channel 5 which will see the broadcaster air daily live draws for its EuroTelemillions.com game (MW Feb 26).

The role has been newly created following the appointment of former commercial director for Turner Media Innovations for the now scrapped Nuts TV Damon Letzer as commercial director (MW Feb 3).

Netplay chief executive Marting Higginson says the appointment marks the firm’s renewed emphasis on “developing brands, or lovemarks as we prefer to call them, brand loyalty and customer retention.”

Rigby has previously worked for a host of London advertising agencies, including WCRS and Lowe before joining Manchester-based agency Love.
