Propaganda picks up Wensleydale

The Wensleydale Creamery has appointed Propaganda to develop its brand.

The Wensleydale Creamery has appointed Propaganda to develop its brand.

Propaganda was handed the business after an agency review and will work on the Real Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese brand.

Wensleydale is one of the favourite cheeses of Aardman animation character Wallace. The Wensleydale Creamery does produce a |Wallace & Gromit range.

The cheese has been made near Hawes in North Yorkshire since the 12th century.

Propaganda director Mike Phillipson says: “Wensleydale is one of the few cheese names that ahs cut through the mass of regional and national brands that exist in this sector. We believe the Wensleydale Creamery is now well positioned to take advantage of this and has a big opportunity to grow market share, both domestically and globally.”

Propaganda was recently handed the business for Boost Drinks.
