Lloyds confirms senior marketing team

Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Joe Clift head of brand/customer marketing specialist brands as part of its new marketing team structure as it continues to shake up operations following the acquisition of HBOS last year.

Clift reports directly to group marketing director Nigel Gilbert (pictured). He is a former svp and head of brand management for Visa Europe and has been working as a consultant for the bank since November.

The Group has also confirmed that Catherine Kehoe will continue with Lloyds TSB as head of brand/customer marketing and Steven Griffiths will be head of brand/customer marketing for the Halifax and Bank of Scotland brands.

Michael Payne will be head of customer strategy and insight for the Group while Sally Hancock will continue to be head of 2012 and group sponsorship.

Gilbert (pictured) was confirmed as group marketing director last December.

A spokeswoman for the Lloyds says the new appointees will now begin to “design the next level of the organisation”.

The Group formed in January after Lloyds acquired HBOS. Last month, it announced that HBOS made a £10.8bn loss last year from bad loans. Lloyds TSB reported a profit of £807m.
