London Zoo launches Animal Adventure campaign

ZSL London Zoo is launching a four-week poster campaign to push its new attraction for kids.

Created by Cravens, the campaign breaks on March 23 on London’s Underground and will be used to promote Animal Adventure, which opens at Easter.

Animal Adventure is the new identity for ZSL London Zoo’s “Children’s Zoo”, for which Cravens also designed a “very simple logo in a playful, childish font that will sit well with the photographic poster campaigns”.

There will be another burst of advertising in the summer.

Cravens has worked as ZSL’s primary design and marketing group for the past four years, and has produced several logos and marketing campaigns for exhibitions at the zoo.

The North-East based agency has also worked with The Alnwick Garden, Beamish Museum and Kew Gardens.
The campaign, targeted at three to seven-year-olds, is intended to “inspire and challenge a child’s imagination”, said Craven’s account director, Jeremy Nickalls.

“We also had to deliver a creative cut-through for the client in what is a highly competitive media environment within the London Underground space,” he added.
