Fulham FC appoints Table 19

Premier League club Fulham has appointed Table 19 to handle its digital and direct marketing accounts.

The integrated agency won the business after a two-way pitch against an undisclosed agency and will also work on developing the club’s brand.

It will initially work on leveraging the club’s recent success on the field and pushing the club’s heritage.

The West London club, which currently sit ninth in the Premier League and beat Manchester United last Saturday (March 21), is the oldest of London’s top flight clubs. The Cottagers have a shirt sponsorship deal with LG Electronics and partnerships with American Airlines and water brand Buxtons.

Table 19 was founded last February by ex-Sky head of customer marketing Matt Broekhuizen and former MRI managing director Mark Smith.

Last December, Carphone Warehouse appointed the agency and Lida to handle its direct marketing account.

It has also won business for Sky, The Geek Squad and Ladbrokes since its creation.
