Divine chocolate creates G-20 game

Fairtrade chocolate brand Divine has seized on the spotlight placed on global trade by next week’s G-20 summit in London with the launch of a viral online game to promote its Easter egg range.

Players can throw Divine chocolate eggs at five global leaders, Barack Obama Nicolas Sarkozy, Hu Jintao, Gordon Brown and Manmohan Singh. If the egg hits target it is eaten by the leader and the player can then forward the game to friends and send an email to the chosen leader about opening up fairer trade with Africa.

The game has been created and is being seeded for initial distribution for the brand by St Lukes. It goes live today (March 27) ahead of a Hyde Park rally tomorrow where issues such as fair trade will be highlighted.

Then vital will be promoted via print advertising in national press with the headline “Keep Fair Trade on the G-20 Summit Agenda” and the game URL eggapolitician.com
