Wolves inks sponsorship deal with Sportingbet.com

Wolverhampton Wanderers has signed the biggest sponsorship deal in the clubs history with Sportingbet.com.

Wolverhampton Wanderers has signed the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history with Sportingbet.com.

The two-year seven figure deal starts in June and will see the online gaming brand’s name appear on Wolves’ new home and away shirts and training kit.

Sportingbet.com will also have a brand presence at the club’s Molineux Stadium and will become the club’s official betting partner.

Wolves’ official website – www.wolves.co.uk will also be sponsored by the company.

Sportingbet.com will replace Chaucer Consulting, Wolves’ sponsor for the past five years and owned by Wolves’ board director Bob Laslett. The firm will remain sponsor until the end of the current season and will maintain a commercial relationship with the club.

Jez Moxey, chief executive of the club, says: “We are delighted to have secured a partner with a global presence and a leader in online gaming.”

Sportingbet.com’s business is dominated by football which represents 65% of the group’s total sports betting revenue.
