Digital Marketing Group is expected to post £8m profits for the year ended 31 March representing a 25% increase on the previous year.

The digital marketing specialist, which owns the agencies GraphicoDMG, CheezeDMG, InboxDMG and AgencyDMG, said the results were in line with market forecasts despite the challenging market conditions.

The company claims it has maintained a flexible cost base and will have reduced its debts to £6.5m at the year end.

A statement from DMG said, “The Group has begun to see some clients’ spend levels tighten and has experienced delays in a number of projects, particularly over the past few months.”

However, the Group believes it will continue to benefit from the overriding trend towards digital media and digital channels which appears to be accelerating as a result of the recession.”

DMG will announce it’s preliminary results for the year ended 31 March on 6 July.
