IPC Southbank poaches GQ fashion advertising director
IPC womens monthlies division Southbank has poached Cond矎asts fashion advertising director for GQ Lewis Tucker to be advertising director of womens monthly InStyle.
IPC women’s monthlies division Southbank has poached Condé Nast’s fashion advertising director for GQ Lewis Tucker to be advertising director of women’s monthly InStyle.
Tucker (pictured) replaces Glenda Marchant who left the company at the end of last year to pursue other interests. He will report to group advertising director Alex Russel.
Tucker’s media career began in 1999 when he joined GQ as fashion advertising manager from retailer Matches, where he was menswear buyer. At Condé Nast also holds the post of GQ Style associate publisher.
InStyle posted a 0.8% increase to 180,987 in its ABC audited circulation for the six months to December 2008 compared to the previous year. It recently appointed.
Lewis is the latest high profile commercial appointment by the group since Evelyn Webster took over as chief executive from CEO of five years Sylvia Auton, who has remained as chairman and executive vice president at parent Time Inc based in New York City.
