Umbro brings Fabio Capello on to its team

Umbro has signed up England manager Fabio Capello as a brand ambassador.

Umbro has signed up England manager Fabio Capello as a brand ambassador.

The deal is for eight years and Capello (pictured) will endorse Umbro footwear apparel and equipment.

Umbro is already team kit sponsor for the England side. The brand launched the new England strip on March 28.

Cappelo was involved in the development and design of the kit and is the first England manager since Sir Alf Ramsay to have a role in the direction of new England kit.

Umbro is owned by Nike and the first England Umbro kit was developed in 1952.
