Greg Coleman, president of AOL’s ad division Platform-A, is to leave the company after just three months.
Coleman, based in the US, is to be succeeded by Google’s vice president of industry development and marketing Jeff Levick. Levick will take the role of president of global advertising and strategy, heading up Platform-A.
Coleman, who took the role in February, replaced Lynda Clarizio who took the position in March 2008.
The changes come just weeks after AOL’s new CEO Tim Armstrong joined the firm, having previously been a senior VP at Google for its North and South American operations..
In January in a leaked memo AOL CEO Randy Falco said the company was to shed 700 jobs
