Birds Eye Iglo chief executive Martin Glenn and M&C Saatchi worldwide chief executive Moray MacLennan are among the industry glitterati scheduled to appear at a new event for integrated marketing.
MarketingWeekLive, which will also feature marketers such as Vodafone global brand director David Wheldon and Lastminute.com’s European managing director Simon Thompson, formerly of Honda among other brands, will debut at the Grand Hall Olympia in London on June 30 and July 1.
The event brings together four separate exhibitions under one roof to provide a single destination event for market research, online marketing, data marketing and in-store marketing to reflect the new multi-disciplinary role of marketers.
The four individual exhibitions, each with specific conference programmes, will be free for all visitors, as will a central stage hosted by Marketing Week where some of the biggest names in the industry will cast their views on the new challenges that marketing professionals face.
“It’s the sort of event that it would be worth sending your entire marketing department to at some point over the two days,” says Centaur exhibitions director Mike Sherrard. “Marketers no longer enjoy the luxury of a single-disciplinary role and with every new responsibility there is a wealth of learning that needs to be done.
“MarketingWeekLive reflects that need and will provide all the solutions required to get the maximum impact out of every marketing budget.”
Sherrard adds that MarketingWeekLive is expected to grow each year as new shows are added to this summer’s planned format.
