Aegis Media elevates Morris and Cranmer into new roles

Aegis Media has promoted Isobar chief executive, Nigel Morris, into the same role at Aegis Media North America and replaced him with industry veteran Mark Cranmer.

Cranmer (pictured) has been working as a consultant for the network recently.

Morris replaces Sarah Fay, who is departing after 11 years with the group. The appointments are effective immediately.

Morris will also remain a member of the Aegis Media global executive. Cranmer, a former CEO of Starcom Mediavest Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will also join the global executive.

The former has been CEO of Aegis Media’s digital agency network Isobar since it was founded in 2003. He first joined Aegis Media in 1992. That year he took up the position of vice president for Carat International.

In his new role, Morris will be responsible for all Aegis Media businesses in the US and Canada, which includes Carat, Vizeum, Aegis Media Canada and Superscope.

Cranmer is a former board director of Publicis Groupe Media worldwide. Prior to that, he was part of the senior management team at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and has worked in a number of agencies including JWT, Leo Burnett and Dare.
