Feel Good to target TV ad at students

Student’s entry to Feel Good Drinks awards programmesparks ‘animated gnomes’ campaign by Loose Moose

The Feel Good Drinks Company is launching an ad campaign that will target the student market before rolling out as a nationwide campaign.

The animated television ad has been developed from a creative awards programme launched by the drinks company last year. Final year graphics student Debbie Hulme submitted an animated ad to the awards scheme, which was then sent virally to Feel Good Drinks’ database of consumers.

Marketing manager Libby Wybrow says the plasticine gnomes featured in Hulme’s animation met with such a positive response that the company decided to recreate the characters in a new ad campaign created by animation agency Loose Moose.

Ahead of the launch of the national TV activity, the campaign will air on multi-channel TV service Freewire. It will also go out on dedicated online channel Student TV, which reaches 160,000 students.

In addition it air on Channel 4, via Freewire’s Project 4 addressable advertising platform.

The Feel Good Drinks Company claims all of its fruit soft drinks contain only natural ingredients, with no added sugar or artificial preservatives. Its bottles are also 100% recyclable.
