Walkers offers chance to train with Monty Panesar

Walkers, the PepsiCo-owned crisp brand, is launching a new promotion as part of its “Gary’s Great Trips” campaign, offering consumers “VIP” trips and a private training session with English cricketer Monty Panesar.

Launching tonight (May 22), the on-pack promotion will see consumers go in the running to win trips to music, sport and film events.

The first will be the chance for ten people to attend a private cricket evening at Lords, for a session with cricketers Panesar (pictured) and Phil Tufnell.

The Gary’s Great Trips promotion offers a wide variety of discount offers to consumers, including visits to theme parks, hotels, pubs and golf green fees across the UK.

The promotion is aimed at both families, with National Trust day passes, as well as non-family focused activities such as festivals.

The promotional packs will be in stores until late August. Consumers will be directed to a website where they will be able to redeem points from a ten digit code on the pack. The more points accrued, the more discounts the consumer will have available to them.

Walkers has just concluded its Do Us A Flavour campaign in which members of the public voted for a new flavour and chose Builder’s Breakfast.
