Citroen names David Savage MD

Former marketer Gary Savage has been appointed as the new managing director for Citroen UK.

Most recently, Savage was head of marketing and brand development for Audi in Russia. He has also served as head of sales and marketing within the Volkswagen group’s UK operations.

Savage says: “I’m really happy to be joining Citroen at a time when the brand is becoming even more dynamic, stylish and innovative. We have just launched the award-winning C3 Picasso and the exciting DS range is still to come.”

Jean-Marc Gales, Citroën’s CEO said he was “looking forward to welcoming a great professional with such strong sales experience to further develop Citroen in the UK”.

Savage’s appointment follows the promotion of Xavier Duchemin to head of marketing and communications in Paris.
