As part of the changes the marketing department is believed to be under consultation, with two brand managers already among the first to leave.
Marketing director, Gerry Roads, has also left, with his responsibilities now added to Dalyac’s remit.
Dalyac is also part of the French headquartered management team that has overarching sales and marketing responsibilities in international markets.
Ian Ainsworth, previously acting MD of Yoplait Dairy Crest is also understood to have been handed a new role in the sales and supply chain side of the business.
Yoplait chairman, Lucien Fa has now added the responsibility of UK MD to his remit.
The restructure comes as a result of Dairy Crest’s decision in March to sell its 49% stake in Yoplait Dairy Crest to Yoplait for an estimated £63.5m.
It is believed that the Yoplait group will look to cut costs and reduce the UK head count where there are currently an estimated 50 staffers.
