TCM is encouraging people to upload home-made recreations of famous movie scenes to its overhauled website, with the best entries then seeded on social networks.
The Capture Your Classic campaign supports the channel’s rebrand, which will culminate with a secret event in Central London on 12 July.
The new-look tcmuk.tv includes film clips, features and blogs, as well as listings and a film database.
Barnaby Dawe, VP of marketing and communications, said, “This is all about injecting some fun and exuberance into the TCM brand using an integration of digital and experiential marketing.”
