Car servicing chain IN’n’OUT has appointed integrated agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw as its first agency of record to help drive its UK expansion plans.
The car servicing chain, which was launched in 2007 with backing from a syndicate of Californian investors, claims to be the first of its kind in Europe.
It offers a one-stop shop for servicing, valeting and MOT testing services at six regional centres, with a further 11 in development for 2009 and another 36 targeted for next year.
It also offers fleet servicing and pre-paid platinum memberships for annual car servicing and maintenance.
Its nearest competitors in the UK include exhaust and tyre company Kwik-Fit, tyre specialist ATS, car manufacturer dealerships and local garage mechanics.
Campaign work is expected to launch in September with a forecast spend of £3m in the next year. Previously, IN’n’OUT had used a number of UK agencies on an ad hoc basis.
Kitcatt Nohr was appointed without a pitch and will oversee the US-based company’s brand activity and customer acquisition programme.
Its sister agency Trinity Communications will handle media planning and data analytics will be handled through Huw Davis Partnership.
