Paramount appoints marketing director

Paramount Home Entertainment UK & Ireland has appointed former Orange head of product management for digital TV, Lesley Henry, as its new marketing director.

Henry replaces Richard Clarkson, who is returning to Australia.

She has been charged with leading the marketing team at Paramount Home Entertainment and manage the ongoing agency relationships with Mediaedge:cia and Shine Communications.

She will report to the Viacom-owned company’s vice president and managing director for UK & Ireland, Charlie McAuley.

Henry also previously worked at Orange as head of film and TV partnerships. She played a key role in developing the new “Together We Can Do More” positioning for the telecommunications company.

Prior to Orange, she launched two new digital TV channels at UKTV Flextech and launched an e-commerce online magazine for BBC Worldwide.

Additionally, she spent four years in brand marketing at Coca-Cola where she worked in brand management roles on both Coca-Cola and Diet Coke.

Viacom owns a number of multiplatform entertainment properties which also includes MTV Networks, BET Networks and Paramount Pictures.
