It has promoted general manager Microsoft Advertising Gregg Albright to the new role of vice president global accounts to lead a new team focused on sales relationships with brand owners in consumer goods, automotive, consumer electronics, financial and entertainment sectors.

Meanwhile, it has moved its advertising sales Europe, the Middle East and Africa general manager Marc Bresseel to the new role of vice president global agencies.

Bresseel will focus on relations with global agency networks such as Aegis, Havas, Publicis and WPP.

Both Albright and Bresseel will oversee the creation of the new teams.

Microsoft’s consumer and online group corporate vice president Darren Huston says the new teams have been created to help advertisers and agencies “reach, engage and motivate audiences” in digital environments via Microsoft platforms.
