Spotify seeks £30m investment
Streaming music service Spotify is seeking investment of up to £30m, according to reports.
Spotify, which has added more than 2m users in the UK since its launch in October, is valuing itself at close to £200m, The Times has reported.
Spotify raised €15.3m (£13.3m) in October from VCs Northzone Venture Partners and Creandum.
Last week Spotify signed a deal with Random House to allow users to stream a free audiobook – Free, the novel by Wired editor Chris Anderson (nma 2 July 2009).
