UK Mail is extending its mail service with the launch of a new tool that allows marketers to create and send promotional postcards through a computer.

Part of UK Mail’s “imail” service – which launched in November last year – it has been soft launched into the market and is targeting small to medium businesses.

Owner of UK Mail, Business Post Group chief executive Guy Buswell, says once it starts to market the new service during the autumn, it will target existing customers of UK Mail with large-scale DM campaigns.

They will be in the financial services, telecommunications and utilities sectors.

The promotional postcards allow companies to create and customise their branded message on high-gloss paper and organise their delivery nationwide all through a computer.
