It forms part of a £1.5m ad campaign, created by Momentum, and has been timed to coincide with the ‘back to school’ period.

The push will launch on Monday (10 August) and activity will include aisle features in Tesco, till advertising in Ryman stores and staff in WH Smith wearing branded t-shirts.

There are also free-standing display units in all Staples, Ryman and convenience stores.

Meanwhile, Hamelin envelope brand, New Guardian, has been running an online campaign inviting people at home and in the office to break as many envelope-related records as possible.

Participants are being encouraged to visit a dedicated website to share videos, images and stories of their record-breaking attempts.

It has approached the Guinness Book of World Records with the aim of getting envelopes into the publication.

Hamelin Paperbrands also manufactures envelops and personal stationary. Its other brands are Cambridge, Challenge and Summit notebooks.

The Oxford notebook range is available in four colours and three sizes and comes with polypropylene covers.
