Ann Summers appoints marketing director

Ann Summers, the lingerie and sex toy retailer, has appointed Fiona Davis as marketing director.

She replaces Julian Baker who left the retailer in January.

Prior to joining Anne Summers, Davis held positions at women’s fashion retailer Wallis, BHS and Early Learning Centre. More recently, she has worked as a brand consultant for several high-street chains and headed up the MA Fashion Business Management course at the University of Westminster.

Ann Summers managing director Paula Minowa says: “Her significant retail knowledge and experience will not only enrich the strength of the directorship, but will aid the business in its vision for long term growth and expansion.”

The chain currently has 134 stores in the UK and Spain and operates a network of over 7,500 Ann Summers party organisers that host around 4,000 parties each week.
