IPC creates centralised digital sales team

IPC Media, the magazine publisher, is restructuring its advertising department and creating a centralised digital sales team.

It has appointed Sam Finlay to the new role of head of digital sales, moving from his position of IPC Ignite group advertisement director.

Meanwhile, Harry Harcus, currently head of advertising operations for AOL Advertising, takes the new role of ad operations director across IPC Media, reporting into Finlay.

The new department will bring together all the digital advertising and ad operation functions across IPC. It will comprise of 27 advertising personnel and an ad operations team consisting of 12 staff.

IPC chief executive Evelyn Webster says: “This restructure will allow our agency partners to access these brands via a single point of contact within the central digital team.”

The changes will come into effect over the next few weeks. No redundancies have been made as a result of the restructure.

The Time Warner-owned company publishes 80 magazine titles including Look, Now, Marie Claire, In Style, Nuts and Wallpaper.

Its digital properties include NME.com, and housetohome.co.uk.
