Inbev appoints DDB London

InBev UK has appointed DDB London to handle the Budweiser UK advertising account following the handing of the global advertising business to the DDB network.


DDB London won the UK buisness after a pitch and will work with the global team at its mother network.

The brand recently switched to a social marketing theme in the UK, dropping the ‘True Dedication’ line of last year for the ‘Good Times … They’re Out There’ outdoor and press campaign.

The brewer also recently launched an on-pack promotion offering consumers a chance to win tickets for the 2010 FIFA World Cup by in a bid to leverage its sponsorship of the tournament.

The decision to appoint DDB London, which replaces Fallon, was made by the local and global marketing teams, which included Jason Warner, global vice president of Budweiser for Anheuser-Busch InBev and Andreas Hilger, marketing director for InBev UK

InBev UK is a wholly-owned subsidiary the leading global brewer of Anheuser-Busch InBev.
