The two government departments launched the search for an agency in July via COI and shortlisted four agencies: incumbent Delaney Lund Knox Warren, Leo Burnett, M& C Saatchi and VCCP.
The agency will develop a campaign to help engage a broad audience of parents, teachers, young people and health care professionals. The DH and DCSF recently reviewed the strategy for promoting sexual health and recommended evolving the way campaigns are used. The review findings suggested that better communication between individuals and different audience groups is vital in bringing about safer sexual attitudes and behaviours.
Profero was appointed to handle the digital activity for the campaign earlier this month.
