Broe will be responsible for building integrated marketing platforms regionally and locally across Europe. She will oversee brand and customer marketing, advertising, media, digital and sponsorship.
She replaces Pedro Rangel who has left the company. It is not known if he has a job to go to.
As head of marketing for the UK and Ireland, Broe was responsible for MasterCard’s Priceless advertising campaign and leveraging Mastercard’s UEFA Champions League and BRIT Awards sponsorships.
Previous roles at MasterCard include head of marketing for Northern Europe and head of brand for Europe. She also worked at a number of agencies on a mix of FMCG, business to business and financial services accounts.
Broe will be based in London and report to Amy Fuller, the credit card brand’s group executive for consumer marketing. The company is currently searching for a replacement for her.
