The Co-operative group is extending its advertising agency review to include all creative marketing agencies.

A spokesperson for The Co-operative confirmed that the review would mean the creation of an agency roster across the Co-op’s food, pharmacy, and funeral brands but excludes the Financial Services business, which already has an agency roster but would not comment further on incumbent agencies.

The group announced in July it was to review its advertising agency account, currently held by McCann Eriksson. The agency is not thought to be repitching.

The agency created a 2.5 minute television advert featuring Bob Dylan’s Blowing in the Wind earlier this year to mark the Co-operative’s rebrand of its entire business.

In August, The Co-op appointed integrated agency Refinery to handle its Christmas press and direct mail campaign.
