Ben Sherman appoints new CEO

British fashion company Ben Sherman Group has appointed Pan Philippou as its new group chief executive.

Philippou was previously chief executive of Italian fashion label Diesel’s UK and then North American operations from 1995 to 2007. He then moved to become CEO of WDT where he was responsible for the Firetrap, Full Circle and Sonetti brands.

Philippou will replace current group CEO Miles Gray who is stepping down in January to become a non-executive director at the company and advisor to parent company Oxford Industries.

The incoming CEO says: “I am obviously delighted to be taking on this new role. My focus will be to continue the journey of the brand and support its growth, repositioning and success.”

The iconic British label has opened a shop in Savile Row this summer and launched a range of Beatles-inspired clothing
