Digitalis appoints Mark Wood as chairman

Digital consultants Digitalis Media has appointed former Prudential CEO Mark Wood as chairman.

The company, started this year by Dave King, specialises in online networking, market analysis and reputation management.

Wood (pictured) has served as chief executive for Barclays Broker Services, AXA UK and Prudential UK and Europe and has run financial services and technology start-ups in the UK and New York. In 2006 he set up pension insurance company Paternoster.

King believes that Wood’s appointment is an important step for Digitalis and says: “Mark brings with him expertise in successfully managing early stage growth and understands all the challenges of meeting accelerating demand while building a reputation for exceeding the demands of client.”
