easyJet puts digital media account out to tender

EasyJet has called a review of its pan-European digital planning/buying account.

The business is currently handled by OMD International but the low-cost airline is pitching it after six years of working with the Omnicom Group agency.

EasyJet’s digital media account is included in a wider review of its £30m planning/buying account.

Katie Stitson, marketing manager for easyJet, confirmed it was hunting for a new digital media agency. “The pitch includes digital, which OMD currently handles,” she said.

In September, former AOL Europe CEO Dana Dunne joined easyJet as its chief commercial officer.
