The advertising campaign uses the strapline “Come out and play” and promotes Regatta’s outdoor clothing, including fleeces, trousers, rucksacks and boots as the essentials for an outdoor campaign trip.
The creative, developed by DigForFire DMG, features photographic imagery of a countryside river scene cropped into the outline of a warm jacket, and directs consumers to look out for the brand in outdoor retailers or online.
It will include poster advertising, in-store POS and experiential activity, which the brand hopes will broaden its appeal to new consumers.
The campaign also highlights Regatta’s position as a value for money outdoor brand, offering “exceptional value that will last camping trip after camping trip”.
Regatta is hoping to capitalise on the trend for British holidays demonstrated by the rise in staycations this year.
