Nunwood recruits James Walker

International insight consultancy Nunwood has recruited the former global president of Accenture Marketing Sciences James Walker.

Walker (pictured) joins the Nunwood board as chief strategy and development officer.

He was a partner at Accenture for 7 years and ran the company’s international marketing sciences division, following the acquisition of his business Edge Consulting in 2002.

Walker helped grow the practice to more than 20 offices globally with a team of over 400 consultants. Whilst at Accenture, he led the acquisition of the media consultancy Media Audits and worked with the management teams from brands including Vodafone, Staples, Dell, and Nokia.

Before Edge and Accenture, Walker held global leadership roles at Mindshare, JWT and was previously Chairman of Brand Science.
