Parent company AkzoNobel implemented an agency review to streamline its global agency relationships. The global review saw Dulux part company with its long-standing agency in the UK Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO. The agency did pitch but was knocked out early in the process.

The pitch was handled by intermediary Oyster Catchers.

AkzoNobel reported revenue down 10% to €3.639m (£3.28m) in its third quarter results last month.
