Russell, pictured, has been marketing director for Bacardi China for three years, developing the business and the DEWAR’S brand in the China market.
Russell led the strategic brand development of Bacardi’s premium spirit brands, overseeing innovations and communication initiatives.
Prior to that, Russell held various roles at Bacardi Lion in Australia covering trade marketing and marketing planning.
Bacardi Global Travel Retail was set up as a stand-alone division in 2006. Through its premium and super-premium brands – including Bacardi Rum, Dewar’s Scotch whisky and Martini Vermouth – the division aims to create innovative partnerships and unique experiences for travellers.
A replacement for the role that Russell leaves at Bacardi China will be announced in due course.
