The agency will work across Molson Coors’ portfolio of brands which includes Carling, Grolsch, Coors Light from next month.
Nicola Young, director of marketing insight and communications, says: “The original objective behind the brief was to help us transform our communications planning to build extraordinary brands and I am confident that with Zenith as a key strategic partner we can deliver this.”
Zenith was appointed following a four way pitch that included the incumbent Vizeum, Mediacom and Mindshare. Molson will be working with Vizeum until the end of 2009.
The brewer is still looking for a permanent replacement for marketing director Simon Davies, who left last month to set up an integrated marketing agency.
It has appointed David Preston, the former director of marketing, portfolio and innovation, on an interim basis until it makes a permanent hire.
