Kia Motors to sponsor hit Sky TV shows Lost and 24

Kia Motors is to be the new sponsor of Sky’s lynchpin series Lost and 24 to promote its new models Kia Venga and Kia Cee’d.

The Korean car manufacturer is to sponsor the last series of science-fiction series Lost and Day 8 of action thriller 24.

Both shows will feature branding on their 15-second opening and closing credits and on their five-second break bumpers. The Kia logo will also feature on all 20-second programme-specific trailers. Creative executions have been devised by Kindred.

Kia Motors marketing director Simon Hetherington says: “This association is an excellent way to raise the long-term awareness of our brand, helping to make both the Kia brand, and our key models a hit with the audience.”

The previous sponsors were 118 118 for Lost and Gocomparethemarket.com for 24.
