BMW calls agencies pitch

BMW is reviewing its UK advertising, digital and direct marketing agency requirements.

The car manufacturer has confirmed it is looking at all aspects of its marketing communications and is working with intermediary AAR for the review.

BMW currently uses WCRS for advertising and Dare was appointed to work on digital last year. The car manufacturers direct marketing work is handled by Euro RSCG KLP.

The car manufacturer has a long-standing relationship with WCRS and the review is a statutory requirement..

BMW’s media business, held by Vizeum, is not under review.

BMW recently signed up to be a tier one sponsor of the London 2012 Games

BMW will provide a fleet of 4,000 cars, while BMW bicycles and motorcycles will be used by athletes and officials at the 2012 Games.
