Arena BLM was chosen following a three-way pitch and will begin working with Mirror Group in the new year. The previous incumbent was ZenithOptimedia.
Lorraine Fraser, director of marketing, Trinity Mirror Nationals, says: “Following a competitive pitch process we appointed BLM as we were highly impressed with their insights, strategy and creative thinking. We look forward to working in partnership with BLM to take our media planning to the next stage.”
Fraser was appointed to head up the marketing for the national titles, including the Daily Mirror, in July.
The Daily Mirror posted a 0.9% drop in average net circulation for October on September, to 1,295,972. However, it fell 9.05% for the six months May to October, year on year (source ABC).
