“Decisions for Recovery” is an interactive online campaign created by Being Digital, which challenges the public to put themselves in the place of those that lead the recovery process in areas affected by the disaster.

The campaign includes a viral video, website, online PR, print and social media elements.

It aims to thank supporters that donated to the fund five years ago and inform them how their donations helped the British Red Cross rebuild lives and restore affected communities, as well as attract new supporters.

The challenge includes role-play of real situations Red Cross volunteers faced and asks the public what decisions they would make if they were a disaster recovery manager for the organisation.

Last month the British Red Cross launched a viral campaign starring TV presenter Konnie Huq in a bid to challenge misconceptions young people hold about HIV as part of a wider campaign in the lead up to World Aids Day on 1 December.
