Molson Coors’ Salmon joins agency Torchbox

Rob Salmon, former marketing communications partner at Molson Coors, has joined ad agency Torchbox as director of digital marketing.

The Oxfordshire-based agency specialises in digital design, development and marketing services. Clients include Greenpeace, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the University of Oxford.

Salmon joined Molson Coors in 2007 from Manchester-based agency Fast Web Media where he was responsible for its online marketing and SEO division.

Salmon has stepped down from his role as chair of ISBA’s digital action group. The Post Office’s digital sales and marketing manager, Alex Tait, has now taken over the role.

Salmon said, “I’ve had a fantastic time at Molson Coors – the marketing team really bought into creating compelling digital content and then making that content famous. However, my new role is one I can’t wait to get cracking on. Torchbox has a very impressive offering in a really important sector.”
